This is an update on the current situation as of April 26, 2024 of our Back To Eden Garden. In this video, I show the front yard and the vegetable garden and how we utilize compost. Also showing off the absolute mess of the garden after a long winter.

do you have skunks? I have found that skunks really like onions for some reason. Do you have a trail Cam?
I have the but it is the crows I think. At first, I thought it was cats, but cats dig a little different and I would’ve seen paw prints in the fresh compost. It’s definitely a bird digging its way I think looking for worms. I have an abundance of worms in the garden. I mean an abundance it is crazy.
Good to see you back my friend...great information on the asparagus...glad to see the rubarb up....it will grow back bigger next year if you leave some of the stalks attached...as long as your in city code it's more important your garden is prosperous rather then what it looks like...you have some great ideas there....can't wait to see the results...But please take it easy... I am not a doctor but it sounds like you have bronchitis. I would boil a little bit of ginger in water and then drink the water...it may help....take care of your health my friend 🌷 You are important ❤️

So happy to see you again. May I suggest that you put some of your dry leaves in your tires before you fill them up with compost? This way they can continue composting down and feeding your vegetables once you get them planted.

You need to take care of that cough...dig up those dandelions root and all...wash them boil them and drink the broth...garlic soaked in honey may help....not a Dr here but you need to take of YOU....Your garden can wait a couple of more days... Praying for you a prosperous year ....🙏🌷

Men were the crocheters way back in the day. They made nets, all sorts of things for ships, bags, blankets for people, horses.

You should try Greek Oregano, It is hardy here in Zone 4, so it should do well for you.

Do You have a Facebook account? And if not, why not? How can I harass you? If you don't have a Facebook Messenger. As for the sourdough, a friend of mine just finally made her first loaf after who knows how many failures. She found out she was not feeding it enough, and often enough. And I just saw on another video where they used a heating pad to keep it warm enough. Heating pad with several towels around 90°.
Glad to see you and that you are semi or totally well again. Now the things I have in my freezer. Are. Complete Turkey dinners on a plate. Complete ham dinners on a plate. Lasagna. Chicken enchiladas. With sauce. Curried chicken chicken fricassee. With ham soup. Split pea soup. And one thing I really like to do is dump recipes. I think I gave them to Graham already. If not, let me know. And I will show them to you where you put your protein. In a bag with all the spices, seasonings and whatever and freeze it. Then it's already marinated and ready to go when you're ready to cook it.
I do have some tried and true chicken dump recipes we love but I’ve never tried it with any other protein source!
Graham likes the enchiladas with sauce I do not! I would like to try the white chicken enchiladas. I’ve never had them.
@@SirCracker This is my recipe for chicken enchiladas. I use chicken breast. 1 Can of green enchilada sauce. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1,8 ounce package of cream cheese. A small tub of sour cream. A small block of shredded. Jack cheese divided. A large can of Ortega Whole. Chilies. I boil the chicken. Let it cool and then shred it. in a saucepan. I melt the cream cheese. With the soup, Can of green enchilada sauce. And sour cream. And when it cools down a little. I will add maybe 3/4 of the shredded Jack cheese. When the cream cheese and sour cream cool down considerably. Mix the shredded chicken and cheese. With a little bit of this sauce. I do cook the tortillas in oil. Just enough to soften them so they're easier to work with. I will make enchiladas. My dipping the tortilla in the sauce. Laying a strip of Ortega chili pepper. And then put in the chicken and cheese mixture. That has a little sauce in it to hold it together. I do dip the corn tortillas after frying them a little bit in the sauce mix. So, a then covered on both sides with the saucy stuff. But leaving some sauce in the pan and once they're all assembled. I will take some chicken broth. And thin out whatever is left in the pan of sauce. To put on top. Then I try to cover. Every enchilada. With the Remaining. Then down. sauce. And then cover it with. The remaining cheese. Now I do mine in 2 and freeze them, then vacuum seal them. Then all I have to do is pop them in the microwave because everything is cooked. Or you could do them in a 9 by 13. And you could actually do a casserole. Where you do the tortillas. In a layer, then sprinkle the Chicken. Jack. Cheese, cream cheese mixture. Repeat. Ending with a layer of sauce and cheese. And if you do a casserole method. Cut your tortillas in half and put them Cut edge along the edge of the dish. So, there's no holes from the Tortillas. Would cook them. In a 350° oven. But I'm not sure about the time. When they start to brown and get all bubbly, they're done.
@@SirCracker I cannot. eat the red enchilada sauce. It gives me severe indigestion just looking at the can. But if you can find red sauce. That does not affect me, and it doesn't have the same flavor, but it's good. It's what I put in my tamales.
